Calling All Intercessors to Pray for Families in Path of Hurricane Rita

Dear Father,
I thank you for your love, grace, and mercy. Dear Lord, I ask for mercy for your people. I pray that you spare the lives of your people. Lord, God we wait with great faith and hope for the people in the path of Hurricane Rita for we know that you are our help and our shield. Have mercy on your people, Lord. Send your angels of protection to surround your children and Saints. Equip your people with courage, stamina, love, kindness, and creativity to weather yet another major storm. God calm the fears of your people and let your Holy Spirit arise in their hearts, minds, and souls. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
